This wine comes from a unique and single parcel located on a granodiorite subsoil (calc-alkaline granite) called "granite of Château-Thébaud” and gneiss from such granite.
Wine-making process:
This wine requires time to develop its qualities and an aging on the lees for an extended period of 36 to 48 months, or even more. This cuvée was bottled on 5 July 2018.

Tasting:
Golden colour with shiny straw-yellow reflections.
Powerful nose dominated by the minerality of gunflint aromas combined with complex mentholated hints and citrus fruit such as Clementine.
Beautiful structured attack, with fragrances of candied lemon peel and jasmine, evolving to toasty notes.
Fleshiness on the mid-palate provides a wine with a silky texture, Powerful and lengthy finish with timut pepper essences.
